An enormous amount of hype has been generated for the upcoming Apple announcement on January 27th.  The rumor mills are saying that an iSlate will be announced, and hinting it will run updated iPhone software.

I just can’t figure out what I would use an iSlate for.  So I’m turning to the wisdom of the crowd to find an answer.
